I'm slacking...

Again, it's been way too long since I posted anything! A lot has happened in the past couple months. Aaron is 2! We have new countertops, a new dog, and it is finally Spring Break. Without further ado... pictures! :)

This is our new dog, Nia. She is a black lab/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is VERY smart, and it's hilarious when she tries to herd the cats or Maddie. :D~

A few pics of the kids playing outside:

The kids are asking (ahem) for my attention at the moment, but I'll be back with before/after pics of the kitchen and some pics of the recent cake I made. :)

Even MORE work on the bathroom!

We recently ripped the cheap ugly plastic tub surround out of the bathroom and put up some tile. We still need to texture the wall and get the new paint color we chose up, but the bathroom has come so far!

Before:

During the job:

Finished! (For now, we still need to paint.)

The handles are still sticking out like that because we are waiting on plumbing advice from my dad before we cut the pipes for good:

P.S. The corners still need to be caulked. The wall isn't square, so that's why they look funny. :)

Family Christmas Pictures

A couple weeks ago, we had Christmas pictures taken. Aaron did NOT want to sit or smile for the pictures, so it was an adventure. You wouldn't be able to tell all the trouble we had from how great they came out though! I like them all!

Disneyland, Pt. 2

Here are some more pictures of our trip to Disneyland back in November. Sorry it took me so long to get to this!

This is not good quality, but I had to post it. We are watching Fantasmic, and I love the look on Hailey's face! This is why we love this place so much - looks like this. :)

We ran into Mickey Mouse as we were leaving the park for the night. :)

We stopped by Pixie Hollow in the morning. :) Forgive me, I don't remember this Farie's name...

As I mentioned before, they were filming a Disney Christmas special when we were there, and we managed to see the Showboat Jubilee spot they filmed. The girl in the very front of the boat with the orange/pink dress is Aneka Noni Rose, the voice of Tiana in The Frog Princess.

Thanks for looking!

Disneyland Pt. 1

Here are some pictures from our weekend trip to Disneyland! We had a wonderful time. It was Aaron's first trip, and he LOVED it!

Our hotel gave us a wine and fruit basket! They overlooked the corkscrew though... hehe:

Much of the park was decorated for Christmas in preparation for their season starting Nov. 13th.

Jack Skellington takes over the Haunted Mansion from October-December in celebration of Halloween and Christmas. I like it better than the regular ride!

Aaron having a great time with Grandpa:

Not very eco friendly trash can (teehee... I crack myself up!):

They were filming a Christmas commercial and t.v. special the weekend we were there! These are little dancers dressed as snowmen for the commercial, they were adorable!:

Aaron got to meet his idol, Handy Manny... he was a little shy at first:

Now we're warming up:

Heading back to the hotel for a nap... I'm beat! :)

And on that note, I'll be back with more pictures later!

Halloween Pictures

We had a great Halloween this year! We went over to our friend Terri's house so the kids could trick or treat with Hailey's best friend Katie. The kids had a great time and got a lot of candy! Here are some pictures.

Hailey and Katie:

Hailey as Dorothy:

Maddie came along too - she's supposed to be a pirate wench, but of course she wouldn't keep her hat on. ;):

This is the coolest decoration I've ever seen. There was music, and the couples on either side actually moved and were dancing, and it was complete with fog. I don't even want to know how much that thing cost... but it was amazing.:

And here is Hailey in her Halloween PJ's after we got home:

All in all, a great night!
