We are now officially homeowners!
We closed and got our keys on Tuesday afternoon. We are still staying at my parents' house for another few days, because most of our stuff is in storage in Citrus Heights.
We took down part of the wall of the garage conversion, and discovered that the door is indeed non-functional. This is a pain in the rear because we can't open it to get stuff in for now, but we knew that was a possibility. We'll get it fixed.
We went and got paint for Hailey's room this week - she is so excited to start painting her princess room. We're painting it a light pink with darker pink and purple flowers as a border. I'll post pictures when we get to it, our main focus is just moving all of our stuff out of storage and into the house right now.
Nic's job is going well - he really likes it. It's a HUGE change from the call center he was working at in Folsom.
